DJ ZINC FT KUDU BLUE - "OUT OF CONTROL" (ELECTRO-SOUL, UK)
Benjamin Pettit is a London based artist who goes by the name of DJ Zinc. An expert in house, drum and bass and breakbeat, he is probably best known for his storming club banger "Wile Out" featuring Ms Dynamite. His latest excursions sees the highly regarded DJ team up with emerging Brighton four-piece Kudu Blue whose aesthetic brand of electronica meets soul and urbanised beats to produce a vibrant showstopper in the form of "Out Of Control".
Before you have even had a chance to catch your breath "Out Of Control" throws you into a cataclysmic tunnel ride of kaleidoscopic steel drum medleys that leaves you sweltering under the collar and encourages you to dance far into the early morning hours. Caribbean soul pools around the metallic instrumentals to swoon and scintillate whilst Kudu Blue's Clem's vivacious harmonies intertwine and meander around a thumping electro-house beat that solidifies and harnesses the plethora of sound. The frenetic energy and carnival tinged warmth of "Out Of Control" seeps through to produce a charismatic track that merges contradicting genres into one punchy, uptempo firecracker.
