ELOHIM - "SENSATIONS" (ELECTRO-POP, USA)

We love nothing better than an exciting female solo artist with dynamic edge, a bullish attitude portrayed within the music created and anything remotely electronic. So L.A. resident Elohim is right up our street as the American bubble-vixen's infectious pop has us hooked.

Taken from Elohim's self-titled debut EP, "Sensations" is a number dedicated to "love, sex and vulnerability", according to Elohim herself. It is clear to see that raw emotive strand running within "Sensations" as frustration, over-excitement and physical tension pulses through the vocal tones and angular lyrics. Hazy keys juxtapose heavily with frenetic reverb and shuffles begrudgingly towards a decent chorus that reminds us of Icona Pop or CHVRCHES with a flossy California tinge. However, this is still very Elohim in her own right; Sweetened electronic pop tribulations that stroll across emotive outpourings.
